About Me.
Hello, I’m Bryan. I have an enthusiastic passion for acquiring knowledge and continuously seeking to expand my skills in coding and problem-solving.

Born and raised on The Big Island of Hawaii, I’ve traveled across the U.S. in the span of my military career. Proud of where I’m from, spreading Aloha from home to Virginia.
When I’m not learning, you’ll find me at the gym, relaxing at the beach, or enjoying my favorite foods.

Aside from programming, I love the great outdoors, hiking, fitness and occasional gaming. I’m big on spending much time with my loving family who I will give back everything for their love and support.

2016-2024
My eight years of experience in the United States Army has honed my ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, solve complex problems, and work effectively within a team. Precision and attention to detail can be a matter of life and death as an Armorer and Motor Transport Operator. Translating this into software development, these skills are critical in debugging and testing. While my background in the military is distinct, I have proactively pursued a passion for programming, by completing courses in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through ERA Solutions Cohort, Coursera, and Udemy.
2007-2016
Previous to my military experience, I’ve spent eight years in retail acquiring quick thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability skills to meet customer demands. Working as a dedicated and results-driven Store Manager, allowed me to become highly organized, detail-oriented, and an all-around dependable employee.
